LAKEWOOD – Developers involved with the plan to build an Olive Garden restaurant on Fairmount Avenue in Lakewood will offer more details on the project later this month. According to an article today in the Jamestown Post-Journal, representatives from the restaurant chain will address Lakewood officials later this month about the site plan for the proposed new restaurant.
The Lakewood Village Board also scheduled a public hearing to discuss the site plan and the special-use permit for the Olive Garden restaurant, which would be located in the former Firestone location in front of the Chautauqua Mall. The public hearing will be at 6:45 p.m. Monday, July 23.
Prior to the public hearing, Olive Garden officials are scheduled to appear at the Wednesday, July 18, Lakewood Planning Board meeting to discuss the site plan for the restaurant. Mall. Restaurant officials recently closed the land’s purchase from Simon Properties, which owns the mall.
In June, Olive Garden officials had indicated ground breaking will occur sometime in the coming fall.
