CLARK COUNTY, OH – The Jamestown Post-Journal is reporting that the Ohio man who caused a fatal crash that lead to the death of a Falconer native over the summer has pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicular homicide, aggravated vehicular assault and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
An article in Wednesday’s paper says 37 year-old Mark Terrell entered the guilty pleas during a hearing in Clark County Court.
The July 2 crash that took place on Interstate 70 near Springfield, Ohio led to the death of 20 year-old Matthew Eskeli IV, while also injuring two passengers. Eskeli was a 2017 graduate and valedictorian of Falconer High School. He was a fourth-year mechanical engineering student at the Rochester Institute of Technology.
He and two of his friends were returning to New York after competing in a motorcycle competition in Colorado when the crash occurred.
