Two more arrests have been made in connection to the robbery and assault that took place on the city’s southside Sunday night. Jamestown Police say following an further investigation into the incident, 28 year old William D. Sloppy of Jamestown and 31 year old Stacey L. Simmers of Warren, Pa. were both charged for their alleged involvement to the crime. Sloppy faces a charge of fourth-degree conspiracy, while Simmers was charged with first-degree robbery and fourth-degree conspiracy. Both were transported to city jail awaiting arraignment
The arrest come after two city teenagers -18 year old Malek A. Morley and 18 year old Kyle R. Senear – were arrested shortly after the incident took place. Both were charged with first-degree robbery, second-degree assault and fourth-degree conspiracy in the attack.
Police officials say the incident involved an unidentified victim being beaten, stabbed and robbed at an apartment building on Charles Street around 11 p.m. Sunday night. Police describe the incident as a drug deal gone bad.
