JAMESTOWN – The Jamestown City Council is expected to meet this evening for its monthly voting session. In addition to acting on various resolutions for the month, lawmakers will also get the annual report of the city when Jamestown Mayor Sam Teresi delivers his State of the City address.
The annual address is required under the city charter to be given every year prior to Jan. 31. The Mayor is expected to highlight some of the successes of the recent past, as well also mention some challenges the city faces in the coming year. The State of the City Address will be given at the start of tonight’s meeting, which begins at 7:30 p.m. on the 2nd floor of city hall. It is open to the public.
