JAMESTOWN – The City of Jamestown may know as early as this Thursday who it’s next Director of Development will be. That’s according to a report in today’s Jamestown Post Journal, which says that Jamestown Mayor Sam Teresi plans to offer an update on who he wants to appoint as the city’s next Director of Development during the monthly meeting of the Jamestown Urban Renewal Agency, set to take place this Thursday in City Hall. During last night’s city council work session, the Mayor said he has reached out to several prospective candidates and will be reaching a conclusion soon.
The mayor has been looking to find a replacement for former City Development Director Steve Centi, who retired from the post at the beginning of this year.
