SHERMAN – A Conewango Valley man was sent to the hospital Monday morning following a crash involving a feed truck in the town of Sherman. Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies say 32-year-old Justin Raynor lost control of the vehicle while traveling on Route 76 causing it to leave the roadway, hit a ditch and eventually overturning on the roadway. It then slid off the roadway and down a ravine. Raynor was taken to the Hamot Medical Center in Erie for treatment of his injuries and Route 76 was closed for about four hours between Bailey Hill Road and I-86. The Sherman Fire Department assisted at the scene.
