A strong series of thunderstorms made for some wet and windy conditions throughout the region last night, including a tornado reportedly touching down in Erie County, Pennsylvania.
The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning for Erie and Warren County Pennsylvania just before 8 p.m. Tuesday after a funnel cloud was spotted to the west of Union City. The storm made it’s way through the community, where witnesses say they saw a second tornado touch down. An Erie television station is reporting some downtown buildings in Union City were torn apart with bricks and shattered glass scattered throughout the area.

At least two roads were flooded in Chautauqua County, including Horton Rd. just north of Jamestown. In addition, trees were reported down at both Chautauqua Institution and Kennedy. No serious storm damage or power outages were reported in the Jamestown area. Chautauqua County was under a severe Thunderstorm Warning until 9:45 last night.
