JAMESTOWN – Five city residents and two people from Buffalo face drug-related charges following an investigation on the north side of Jamestown by city police on Friday Morning. Jamestown police say at about 9:15 a.m. Friday, investigators from the JPD and the State Police executed two Search Warrants at separate apartments located at 916 N. Main St.
Friday’s investigation was the culmination of a several-month long investigation into the illegal sales and trafficking of crack cocaine. Police say upon entering the home, investigators found a quantity of crack cocaine and prescription drug pills along with a quantity of cash. Several items of stolen property, including a lap-top computer that was reported as being stolen in a burglary the prior night, were also recovered.
Facing various charges are 51 year-old Cleophis Harris, 49-year-old Anthony Woods, 54-year-old Fattah Rahim, 34-year-old Allison Turner and 32-year-old Sue Ann Gifford – all of Jamestown. In addition, 35-year-old Dwight Logan and 34-year-old Chantelle Logan, both of Buffalo, were also charged. Officers also took an 18 year old into custody who was wanted for several outstanding warrants in Elmira, NY.
