JAMESTOWN – The James Prendergast Library Board of Trustees will hold its first meeting today since the ouster of its former executive Director. Linda Mielke, who was hired to serve as director of the library and the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Library System in November 2011, was fired from her position earlier this month by the library system board. Since then, former assistant director Tina Scott has assumed responsibilities and now serves as Acting Director for both organizations.
Today’s meeting will begin at 12:15 p.m. in the Fireplace Room of the Library. It is open to the public.
