MAYVILLE – We’ve already received word this morning from the Chautauqua County Board of Elections that all systems are a go. Election Commissioners Norm Green and Brian Abram sent out a release at 6 a.m. this morning, announcing that all county poll sites have opened without difficulty and are up and operational.
There are some new polling sites in Chautauqua County for the 2012 election. All Charlotte town voters now will be voting at the Sinclairville Fire Station, 30 Main St., Sinclairville and all Fredonia Village voters (Town of Pomfret) will now be voting at the Wheelock School, 75 Chestnut St., Fredonia.
Poll sites are open today from now until 9 p.m. Voters wishing to check where they vote may look up their registrations by visiting www.votechautauqua.com or by calling 753-4580. If a voter’s name is not in the poll book for any reason, the voter is entitled to vote using a provisional affidavit ballot.
Also election night results will be available starting at 9 p.m. at www.votechautauqua.com.
