JAMESTOWN – An unidentified city man has been arrested after spreading graffiti throughout areas of the downtown. On Friday, city police say they received multiple complaints from downtown businesses that someone was writing on the doors and windows of downtown businesses with a black magic marker. Police were able to identify the suspect after a patrol caught him in the act of writing on the window of a W. 3rd St establishment. Police are not releasing the name of the suspect, only to say that he is 52 years old. He was taken into custody and charged with five counts of Criminal Mischief and Making Graffiti.
