HANOVER – A north county man was flown to Erie County Medical Center early Monday evening following a motor cycle accident in the town of Hanover. Sheriff Deputies say 38 year old David Coia Jr. was traveling along Beebe Rd. just before 7 p.m. when he failed to negotiate a left hand turn and tipped over his motorcycle. Coia and motorcycle than slid across the roadway and came to rest on the shoulder of the road. He was transported by ambulance to Lake Shore hospital. After further evaluation of his injuries, Coia was then transported to ECMC in Erie by helicopter. Coia was released from the hospital early Tuesday morning and is now recovering in his home.
