CLYMER – The man accused of killing the school superintendent of Clymer may have been in the school just hours before the murder took place. Acting Clymer superintendent Ed Bailey is telling media that a man fitting the description of Anthony Taglianetti II came to the school on Friday, Sept. 21 asking for an application to be a substitute teacher. The man also asked to speak to the superintendent.
Bailey has also said that the incident was reported to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office almost immediately after information about Keith Reed Jr.’s murder began to surface. After reviewing video survelience from the school, County Sheriff Joe Gerace told the Jamestown Post-Journal the man was most likely Taglianetti.
Taglianetti was captured by authorities in Virginia on Friday, Sept. 28 and is currently being held in a Virginia jail, awaiting his next court appearance.
