JAMESTOWN – The newest member of the Jamestown city council will be sworn in later today at city hall. Marie Carrubba will be sworn in as the next Council Member for Bergman Ward IV on at 4 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 2nd Floor of the Municipal Building. Carrubba was appointed by Jamestown Mayor Sam Teresi in February to finish out the term of the seat after former councilman Vince DeJoy stepped down to assume the role of City Development Director. Her appointment to the council was approved by the eight other council members on Monday.
