MORNING NEWS: Lucy-Desi Center Offers Half-Off for All County Residents

November 28, 2012 By WRFA Radio Leave a Comment

JAMESTOWN – Local residents will now enjoy a half-price perk when visiting the dual museum attraction at the Lucy-Desi Center for Comedy. Admission to the Lucy Desi Museum and Desilu Studios, normally $15, is now half-off for Chautauqua County residents ($7.50 for adults, $7 for seniors, and $5 for youth), with an I.D. showing home address.

Lucy-Desi Center executive director Journey Gunderson said the decision to allow half-off of admission was based on the fact that local residents can be the museum’s best ambassadors and the Lucy-Desi Center wanted to thank them for bringing visitors and out of town guests to the museum.  She also hopes it boosts attendance from locals, as right now Chautauqua County residents make up only 5 percent of our nearly 20,000 annual admissions.

For more information on the dual museum attraction, visit www.lucy-desi.com or call the Lucy Desi Center for Comedy at (716)484-0800.
