JAMESTOWN – The Jamestown Post-Journal is reporting this morning that the Jabez Leadership Group has purchased the Jamestown post office building, a three-story, 87,000-square-foot multi-use building. The United States Postal Service has leased 18,000 square feet, leaving 69,000 square feet for potential tenants. Gary Lynn, chief executive officer, represented Jabez in the transaction. Clarke Thrasher of Hunt Commercial Real Estate represented the seller, the United States Postal Service. Lynn says his group plans to use the building to lease out office space to area and regional businesses. The price of the transaction was not given.
