JAMESTOWN – City police are continuing their investigation into a Monday night accident that resulted in one person being ejected from the vehicle.
Officers say the accident took place at about 10:30 p.m. on Fairmount Ave. near the intersection with Meadow Lane. According to the police report, the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed when it struck a tree, causing one of the people in the vehicle to be ejected. Both people in the vehicles were males. One was sent to Hamot Hospital in Erie via Starflight. A second was sent to WCA hospital.
Police have not released the names of anyone involved in the crash and the investigation is ongoing.
