JAMESTOWN – A Jamestown man is in the city jail after being arrested for allegedly discharging a firearm eight times outside of a local bar on Wednesday night.
Jamestown Police say 24 year-old Zachiel Fields of Curtis Street was brought into custody on Thursday morning. He’s accused of firing eight shots from a handgun while in the parking lot of the Road-House bar on E Second Street. Fields had initially fled the scene before officers arrived, but an investigation led police to a Utica St. apartment, where Fields was taken into cusdtody.
Fields was charged with first-degree reckless endangerment and felony second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
