JAMESTOWN – The Jamestown Ironmen are proud to be partnering with the Salvation Army for this weekend’s hockey games at the Jamestown Savings Bank Arena.
The Salvation Army will be accepting warm clothing donations in the lobby of the Arena prior to each of this weekend’s games. Games start at 7 p.m. on Friday and 5 p.m. on Saturday. Warm clothes such as coats, scarves, hats and gloves will be accepted and any fans who donate will receive $2 off of their ticket into the game.
This is part of the Salvation Army’s “Bundle Them Up” program designed to provide warm clothes and coats to local children that otherwise wouldn’t have them during the winter. The Salvation Army collection bins will be in the Arena Lobby from Friday October 19th to Thursday October 25th. All are encouraged to donate throughout that time. Donations will only be rewarded with a $2 discount off of Ironmen tickets if they are made prior to the games taking place this Friday and Saturday.
