August 17, 2012 By WRFA Radio Leave a Comment

JAMESTOWN – The Jamestown Saving Bank Arena will also be busy this weekend with several events taking place. In addition to the Thunder in the Streets taking place nearby, the Skate Chautauqua skating competition will also be held this weekend inside arena while all of the festivities are going on outside. Spectators are welcome to come into the Arena to cool off and check out some amazing figure skating taking place on the ice. The event will continue throughout the weekend.

Meanwhile, the Ice Arena’s Big City concert series continues tonight with music from the Bogarts. Jamestown original Alt-Country band will play on the Big City Stage tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. on the outside patio of the Arena.  The show is free to the public and open to all ages.
