MAYVILLE – The Chautauqua County Office for the Aging has received its supply of Senior Farmer’s Market Coupons. Seniors in Jamestown who wish to apply for coupon books need to appear in person at The Renaissance Center Building at 19 W. 3rd St. in Jamestown on Friday July 19 to claim their coupon books. The seniors must also be prepared to show proof of age.
In order to qualify for the program, seniors age 60+ must meet the following criteria:
- Have a monthly income of $1,772 or less for a single-person household; or
- Have a monthly income of $2,392 or less for a two-person household; or
- Have a monthly income of $3,011 or less for a three-person household.
Coupon books are worth $20 with five coupons worth $4 each in a booklet. Coupons are accepted at designated Farmer’s Markets locally at the Dunkirk, Fredonia, Jamestown, and Westfield Farmer’s Markets.
