JAMESTOWN – State police are asking for the public’s help as they continue their investigation into child sexual abuse allegations against a Falconer man. New York State Police say 48 year-old Douglas Nelson of Falconer and Greenhurst has already been arrested on a charge of second-degree criminal sexual act, endangering the welfare of a child and unlawful possession of marijuana. Police say Nelson allegedly had inappropriate relationships with children in the areas. Nelson has been arraigned and sent to the Chautauqua County Jail on $25,000 bail.
The investigation into the case is continuing and authorities are asking parents and guardians to discuss the matter with their children to help identify any other possible witnesses or victims. Any with information should call 665-3113.
