MAYVILLE – Chautauqua County is in need of Election Inspectors willing to work at various polling sites on Election Day. Six hundred poll workers will be needed for the November 6, 2012 General Election, according to the Board of Elections. Election Inspectors Must be at least 18 years of age, Must be registered with the Democratic or Republican Parties in Chautauqua County and Must be able to read and speak English. The Hours are from 5:00 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.
New Election Inspectors will be paid $25 for training that will be available in Dunkirk, Mayville and Jamestown in August. The hourly pay for Election Inspectors that complete the training is $8 per hour.
