Today is October 1 and that marks the start of daily alternate parking in the city of Jamestown. From now through the end of March, motorists who park on city streets are required to park on the odd side of the streets during odd calendar days and on the even side of the streets during even calendar days – unless otherwise noted. Alternate parking for each day begins at 10 a.m.
