JAMESTOWN – A Jamestown man wanted in connection to the manufacture and distribution of methamphetamine is now in police custody.
Jamestown police say 38 year old Donald W. Dean was taken into custody Tuesday morning by Officers from the Jamestown Police Department and the Lakewood-Busti Police at an address on Lakecrest Ave. in Lakewood. Several anonymous tips were received to the Jamestown Police Departments Tips line reporting Dean’s location.
Dean is facing felony charges of of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree and Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine 3rd Degree.
Dean’s charges stem from a narcotics raid that was conducted last Friday at 181 Barrows St by Investigators from the Jamestown Police, state police and Dept. of Homeland Security. Two other individuals were also arrested as a result of the incident.
