JAMESTOWN – Jamestown Police are continuing their search for a Jamestown man allegedly connected to the illegal manufacturing and selling of methamphetamine in the city.

City police say 38 year-old Donald W. Dean is wanted for his connection into a meth raid that took place at 181 Barrows St. Friday afternoon. The raid resulted in the arrested of two other city men, 28 year-old Joseph Snyder and 23 year-old Dustin Verrett.

City police say the arrests were the result of a joint investigation with State Police and the Department of Homeland Security.

During the investigation, police received information that the home was being used to manufacture and sell the methamphetamine. Once receiving a warrant and executing the raid, authorities say they located a quantity of items used in the process to manufacture methamphetamine.

Both Verrett and Snyder were charged with a Class D felony count of third-degree unlawful manufacturing of methamphetamine and second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Dean is wanted in connection with the investigation and the JPD is asking for the public’s assistance locating him. Anyone who may know the whereabouts of Dean is asked to call the JPD at 483-7537 or an anonymous tip can be left at the department’s tip line at 483-8477. All calls will be kept confidential.
