JAMESTOWN – The Jamestown man accused of stabbing three people during a party in Sherman last spring has been sentenced to seven years in Prison. The Chautauqua County District Attorney’s office says 25 year old Lucas Smyczek of 233 Barrett Ave. was sentenced yesterday in county court on three counts of assault in the 2nd degree. During a party last May, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a fight that had broken out at a party on Waits Corners Road in Sherman. It was found that Smyczek had stabbed three people, sending them to the hospital. He was arrested that same day and charged with three counts of assault. All three have since recovered from their injuries.
