JAMESTOWN – The Jamestown City Council will also be meeting tonight at city hall for its second work session of the month. Prior to the meeting of the full council, several committees will be meeting.
Among the items to be discussed is an update to the city code involving the growing of community and home gardens in the city. That item will be discussed in both the housing and public safety committee prior to a discussion by the full council during its work session. The public safety committee will meet at 6:45 p.m. and the housing committee will meet at 6:30 p.m.
The council’s finance committee is also set to meet at 6:45 p.m. and at 7 p.m., the council’s public safety committee will meet to discuss upgrades to the City Hall and Tracy Plaza.
The work session, which will involve the full council, will take place at 7:30 p.m. All meetings are on the 4th floor of city hall and are open to the public.
