JAMESTOWN – The Jamestown City Council will be meeting tonight in city hall. The council’s Public Safety Committee will meet at 6:45 p.m. to go over several resolutions for the July voting session later this month, including the establishment of a Neighborhood Watch group on Falconer St, in the neighborhood around Lillian Dickson Park. The panel will also review several special event applications from various groups.
In addition to the Public Safety committee, the Finance Committee and the Public Works committee will both meet at 7 p.m. to review several resolutions for the July voting session. Both the finance committee and the full council are each expected to discuss a water and sewer agreement with the Town of Kiantone, among other items. The regular work session of the full council begins at 7:30 p.m. All meetings take place on the 4th floor of city hall and are open to the public.
