JAMESTOWN – When President Barrack Obama is sworn into his second term in office this weekend as part of inauguration day, a member and leader of the Jamestown Community will be in attendance. Jamestown City Council President Greg Rabb has received tickets for the inauguration after making a request to Congressman Tom Reed’s Office. Rabb says given that he is a democrat, involved in local politics, and a political science professor at JCC – it’s obviously going to be an exciting day for him. Rabb also attended the Democratic National Convention last summer when Obama accepted his party’s nomination to run for a second term in office.
President Obama will be sworn into his second term in office on Sunday – which is the event Rabb will be attending. A second swearing in ceremony will also take place on Monday, which is the event that will be televised for public viewing.
