The city of Jamestown will soon be looking for a new director of development. The Jamestown Post-Journal is reporting this morning that current City Development Director Steve Centi has announced his retirement as the executive secretary of the Jamestown Urban Renewal Agency and director of Development for the city of Jamestown.
Centi began working for the city in 1996 and eventually went on to take over both positions that he held until his retirement on Friday. According to today’s report, the search for a suitable candidate has already started and a few candidates are already being looked at.
