The Jamestown Board of Public Utilities (BPU) and the Jamestown Jammers are teaming up with ticket discounts for tonight’s end-of-season Jammers game, to benefit the BPU’s Good Neighbor Fund.
A coupon printed in the August, 2012, BPU Customer Newsletter which accompanies monthly BPU bill statements, offers $2 off, up to four tickets, for the home game against the State College Spikes at 7:05 p.m. tonight at Russell Diethrick Park on Falconer Street. In addition, for every redeemed coupon, the Jammers will contribute $1 to the BPU Good Neighbor Fund.
The Good Neighbor Fund helps BPU customers not on public assistance who face emergencies preventing them from paying BPU bills. Aid from the fund is given on a first-come, first-serve basis. For assistance from the fund, customers may apply at the Salvation Army, 81 South Main Street, in Brooklyn Square.
Donations also may be made to the Good Neighbor Fund at the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation, 418 Spring Street, Jamestown.
