JAMESTOWN – The Winifred Crawford Dibert Boys & Girls Club of Jamestown is currently accepting registrations for the first round of swim lessons offered this fall. The Club uses the Red Cross system of progressive instruction for beginning to advanced swimmers with placement in classes that encourage and support each child’s efforts and abilities.
Week one of the eight-week session will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 18 for boys and girls ages 5 and older, with classes offered Tuesday through Friday during after-school hours as well as Saturday mornings.
The swim lesson registration fee is $25.00 per swimmer, meeting once each week with a 45-minute class. Participants in the program are also required to purchase a Boys & Girls Club youth membership at a cost of $15.00 per year.
Interested participants should call the Boys & Girls Club office at 664-2902 as soon as possible to pre-register.
All youth activities offered by the Boys & Girls Club throughout the year are funded in part by the United Way of Southern Chautauqua County.
