BEMUS POINT – Residents in Bemus Point will be voting once again on the school district budget today, after the initial spending plan failed to pass by just 12 votes. However, there won’t be any difference in this proposed budget compared to the one that was voted down in May. Instead, the Bemus Point school board is putting the same budget up for a revote. The spending plan features a 5.6 percent tax levy increase.
The vote will take place from 2 to 8:30 p.m. in the Maple Grove school Cafeteria.
