JAMESTOWN – While coping with the death of a loved one is always difficult, it is especially traumatic for parents who have lost a child to addiction or suicide.
To provide support for those experiencing the unimaginable, “Parents of Angels” will begin meeting on Thursday evenings from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Mental Health Association in Chautauqua County (MHA).
The Mental Health Association is located in the Gateway Center, 31 Water Street, Door #14, Jamestown, New York.
More than two dozen peer support groups meet weekly at MHA, where participants can talk with others across a wide range of concerns, from PTSD to mindfulness and much more. All MHA services and programs are offered free of charge.
