JAMESTOWN – Two co-chairs have been named for the 2014 United Way Campaign. United way of Southern Chautauqua County Executive Director Tory Irgang says mother-son duo Melissa and Shane Uber will serve as the Co-Chairs for this year’s campaign.
Uber is a partner in the family printing business, Quick Solutions, located in Downtown Jamestown and Warren and is a real estate agent with Century 21. She has a long history of community service and her business provides support to a number of local charitable efforts. Her son Shane is corporate counsel for A.W. Farrell & Son Inc., and has his own general practice firm located in Downtown Jamestown.
The 2014 Campaign goal has been established at $1,320,000. Irgang remarked that it won’t be easy to achieve but she and her board believe it’s possible if the community works together.
About 20 different community programs in the greater Jamestown area benefit from the United Way each year.
