MAYVILLE – A Mayville women was sent to the county jail on $20,000 bail following a traffic stop late Wednesday morning that resulted in drug charges being filed.
At about 11:15 a.m., Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies pulled over a vehicle driven by 24 year-old Allison Syper of Mayville for not having a valid inspection sticker.
Further investigation revealed that Syper was allegedly impaired by drugs while driving and also allegedly found in possession of a quantity of meth, suboxone, and clonazepam.
Syper was charged with one count of 3rd-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, as well as driving while ability impaired by drugs and uninspected motor vehicle.
She was sent to the Chautauqua County Jail on $20,000 cash bail.
A passenger in the vehicle, 23 year-old Robert Keech of Stockton, was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. He was charged with criminal use of drug paraphernalia and was released under supervision of probation.
