JAMESTOWN – City police have arrested a Lakewood man Thursday morning after he allegedly set off a fire alarm at UPMC Chautauqua WCA hospital.
City police say 20 year-old Kody Robbins faces a felony charge of second-degree falsely reporting an incident, a felony, as well as third-degree criminal mischief and obstructing governmental administration.
The incident reportedly took place around 4:45 a.m. Thursday when police were called to the hospital on Foote Ave. to deal with Robbins, who was allegedly causing a disturbance and refused to leave the property.
He was escorted out of the building by staff but later broke a door to re-enter the hospital and pulled an alarm. He’s also accused of pulling away while being taken into custody.
Robbins was taken to the city jail to await arraignment.
