JAMESTOWN – Lt. Governor Kathy Hochul made the most of her trip to Jamestown on Thursday. Hochul was in town to attend the Robert H. Jackson Center’s 75th Anniversary commemoration of Robert H. Jackson’s speech on the Federal Prosecutor – which featured her husband – U.S. Attorney William Hochul along with several other noted speakers – discussing the importance of the speech and why it still is relevant today.
In addition to the Jackson Center, Hochul also paid a visit to the Lucy-Desi Museum and Center for Comedy, where she met with Lucy-Desi executive director Journey Gunderson to learn more about programming as well as the effort to develop a national comedy center.
And the Lt. Gov. also made a stop at the Southern Tier Brewing Company in nearby Lakewood – which was recently named the no. 1 craft beer company in the United States, as determined by USA Today and the public, through USA Today’s online Beer Bracket Tournament.
Hochul was elected as Lt. Governor during last November’s elections. Prior to that she served as a member of Congress and also as the Erie County Clerk.
