(UPDATED 10:05 p.m. SUNDAY, MAY 21)
JAMESTOWN – Residents in Jamestown will have to wait a little longer before finding out how the how the $10 million Downtown Revitalization Initiative Grant will be distributed.
The mayor’s office announced Sunday night that the announcement event previously scheduled for Monday morning has been postponed. The postponement is due to Governor Cuomo declaring a state of emergency for the Lake Ontario watershed, with the Lt. Governor being called to help with efforts in that region.
On Thursday it was announced that Lt. Governor Kathy Hochul would announce the final award plan for the DRI Grant, which was awarded to the city last year. The announcement was to take place at the Reg Lenna Center for the Arts.
