JAMESTOWN – The Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce is once again hosting Restaurant Week, featuring 15 different establishments throughout Chautauqua County. One of those restaurants include Shawbucks Press Room in downtown Jamestown, where a special event is being planned for Wednesday afternoon.
“Meet Your Farmer: Happy Hour” will run from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Shawbucks. It is being coordinated by Chautauqua Local Foods (CHQ Local Foods) and will feature several local farmers who grow and produce food in Chautauqua County. The event will also feature a variety of foods, including:
- Grass-Fed Beef Sliders w/ Shiitake Mushrooms
- Garden Harvest Soup w/ Hickory Hurst Squash & Abers Acres Cipollini Onions
- Picnic at CHQ Kale Salad
- Locally Foraged Wild Mushroom Canapés
There will also be a variety of local beer, wine, and other libations on hand. The event is free to attend although some costs may apply for food and beverages.
