WRFA Public Affairs Director Jason Sample talks with Tim Walters (US Post Office Letter Carrier) and Tory Irgang (United Way of Southern Chautauqua County) to learn more about the Stamp Out Hunger initiative, coordinated by the National Association of Letter Carriers and happening Saturday, May 14.

Residents are asked to leave non perishable food items at their mailbox and a letter carrier will pick it up and donate to a local food pantry. In Jamestown the food will go to the Salvation Army. The United Way of Southern Chautauqua County is assisting with the effort.

The goal for the Jamestown area is 10,000 pounds of food.
