In part one of this week’s Community Matters program, WRFA’s Jason Sample interviews JPFA President Shawn Shilling to learn more about the firefighters union’s concerns about staffing levels and an increase in EMS calls in the city. Plus we feature comments by Jamestown Mayor Sam Teresi in response to the rise of EMS calls.
Also we offer comments made by Mayor Teresi regarding his proposed Smart City Capital Investment Program that he presented to the Jamestown City Council on Monday, Sept. 9.
And we also get reaction on the Smart City Capital Investment Program from the three men hoping to replace Mayor Teresi in the 2019 election – Andy Liuzzo (Libertarian candidate), David Wilfong (Republican and Conservative candidate), and Eddie Sundquist (Democrat, Independence, and Working Families candidate).
