Originally airing Thursday, June 5, 2014. Jennifer Champ from the Robert H. Jackson Center talks with WRFA’s Jason Sample about the next exhibit “Say, I Taught Thee: The Life of Mary Willard.” Mary R. Willard touched minds as well as spirits, and influenced the way her students saw and felt about themselves for the rest of their lives. One of those students was Robert H. Jackson.
The purpose of the exhibit is to help the community find personal meaning in the life of Robert H. Jackson. The message is one about the important role that teachers play in their students’ lives.
