WRFA Public Affairs Director Jason Sample talks with Jamestown Mayor Sam Teresi about the 2017 Jamestown City Budget, which the mayor will present on Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2016. The mayor talked about several of the financial challenges the city is facing for the budget as well as what options it has to close a $1 million spending gap.
The mayor also discusses a recent meeting that took place involving the $10 million Downtown Revitalization Initiative grant the city received from the state. And he offers details on proposal to install security cameras at various city parks to help fight back against a recent rash of vandalism.
