WRFA public affairs director Jason Sample talks with Chautauqua County legislator and county executive candidate George Borrello (R-Hanover) about his recent announcement to run for the top office in the county, which is up for election in 2017. Fellow Republican and current County Executive Vince Horrigan has recently announced he will not seek reelection, opening the door for an open seat race in November. Borrello is the first resident to come forward and announce his intention to run for the county executive position.
