WRFA’s Jason Sample talks with 2018 Democratic Congressional Candidate Tracy Mitrano. Mitrano lost to incumbent Republican Tom Reed in the race for New York’s 23rd District, which includes Chautauqua County. She announced at the start of 2019 she would once again be running to seek the Democratic Party’s endorsement for the 2020 race.
During her May 30 interview on WRFA, Mitrano talks about why she decided to run yet again for Congress and why she wanted to announce her intention so soon after the 2018 election. She also offers her thoughts on what has taken place in Washington so far this year, along with her assessment of President Trump, thoughts on the call for impeachment, and why she feels Cyber Security is one of the most pressing issues that requires far more attention from lawmakers in Washington in the coming years.
