The 2017 Annual Appeal for Catholic Charities of Western New York is now underway.
On March 16 edition of Community Matters, WRFA’s Jason Sample talked with Maria Perez-Cruz, Catholic Charities’ Chautauqua County District Director, along with Deb Felton, Chautauqua County WIC Coordinator, to learn more about this year’s appeal.
According to our guests, this year marks the 93rd annual Appeal, which helps fund Catholic Charities’ 70 programs and services across 61 sites in the eight counties of Western New York. The organization impacts the lives of more than 152,000 individuals – Catholics and non-Catholics alike – during the year. In Chautauqua County, more than 6,500 individuals benefit from services funded by the Appeal.
The theme for this year’s Appeal is “Finite Time. Infinite Good” – with a goal of $11 million.
