WRFA’s Jason Sample talks with Kevin Anderson and Beth Germaine about the Sprout Film Festival, which will take place Friday, Sept. 29 at the Reg Lenna Center for the Arts.
Presented by The Resource Center, the mission of the festival focuses exclusively on films that celebrate the diverse lives and creativity of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and strives to challenge assumptions and breakdown stereotypes.
Organizers hope it will inspire audience members, promote inclusion and support transformative film making as an integral part of social change.
The festival begins at at 7:30 p.m. at the Reg Lenna Center for the Arts and is free and open to the public.
