JAMESTOWN – The James Prendergast Library will end the second quarter of the year with a Bargains Galore book sale starting Thursday and continuing through Saturday.
Books and CDs will be half price: $1.50 for CDs, $1 for adult hardcover books, and 50 cents for adult paperbacks, young adult books, and children’s books. Bags of individually selected books will cost $10. Grab bags of romance novels, a special nod to light summer reading, are set at $5.
Hours for shopping are 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Bags will be provided, and credit cards are accepted.
The library has been offering a daily book sale since last fall in order to offer items for sale as soon as donations are received. Proceeds are used to buy new library materials. More information is available at 484-7135 or www.prendergastlibrary.org.
